Dani + Gil
Let me introduce one of the coolest, most alternative and free-spirited wedding I’ve ever got the chance to shoot: Dani (founder of the roller derby team of Dubaï, do you believe in coincidence?! : D ) and Gil.
This crazy and sweet couple from Dubaï planned out 2 full days of fun for their guests in the South of France, starting with unconventional games such as “boot throwing” and “noodle racing” in the swimming pool! They closed the 1st day of festivities with some great open-air BBQ by the small lake, with a great camp fire <3
On Day 2, they had the sweetest, most emotional ceremony (where the bride arrived in a cute green French 2CV), followed by a party to be remembered!
As Dani & Gil have HUGE hearts, there was no gift list… but instead, they asked their guests to send them a small patch of cloth that would bear a particular meaning to them, so Dani’s Mom could stitch them together into a Love Patchwork Quilt. And invited everyone to send money to a charity organisation working on supplying some sub-Saharan villages with water. What a great way to celebrate and spread their love, right?!!
Extra bonus: throughout these 2 days, Chris, their videographer, shot a Marryoke! I just LOVE the concept, I’ve put the video right below, I thought you might (discover the concept and) enjoy it as well!
Dani and Gil were SO MUCH FUN to be around, and so were their families and friends. I hope this will show in these pictures. Guys, I <3 U!!!
