Before making a living as a wedding/lifestyle photographer, I used to roam music festivals and venues all around France with my camera.
As I was pursuing a career in marketing at that time, I used an alias to separate my corporate job from my alternative passion: Eva E. Davier (a website that will be closing soon, as I intend to merge all the different aspects of my photography work).
I felt so lucky, catching fleeting moments of prestigious artists on stage such as Foals, The Rapture, Editors, Gossip, Razorlight, Ghinzu, The Do, Franz Ferdinand, and Peter Doherty/Babyshambles, whom I had the amazing chance to follow on tour for a while!!
It taught me SO MUCH about finding the best angles, the best light in difficult conditions. About waiting in the dark for the perfect moment.
As I moved on to wedding and lifestyle photography, I lacked time to keep on applying for passes, to maintain close ties with the labels, tour managers etc. But sometimes, I still indulge myself with those exciting, creative collaborations, as I did last month with the band That Obscure Object Of Desire!
So I’m taking now this opportunity to present you with this part of my work you might not know  : )
I hope you’ll like it!
